Assembly

The assembly page presents a list of order records from which functions relating to orders can be accessed:

to change the header information of an order, such as insured name or address, click on the order number itself
to add a new order, click on the add button at the bottom center of the order list
the items button allows you to work with the articles on the order
the documents button allows you to print or email order documents, or to log correspondence with the customer or the insured regarding the order
the rooms button allows you to work with the rooms by which the articles on the order may be tracked
the packages button allows you to work with the packages into which cleaned articles are placed
the removals button allows you to specify from which parts of the house the packout crew should remove articles to be cleaned

Filters & Sorts

Order Status will restrict the list to records which have the stated status or statuses

Customer will restrict the list to only those records belonging to the selected customer

Insured Starts With will restrict the list by the insured's name

Work Order Starts With will restrict the list by work order

Sort allows you specify how the records meeting the filtering criteria will be presented.

General Notes

List Navigation
- At the bottom left of most lists is position text, such as "1 - 8/367", which tells you that you are viewing rows 1 to 8 of 367 rows which meet the selection criteria. To navigate through the records in the current selection, use the first page button , the previous page button , the next page button , and the last page button , all of which are located at the bottom right of the list.
- When navigating lists, in order to most quickly find the record(s) you wish to work on, it is best to use the Selection Criteria to filter and/or sort the list records. Each list page will have its own applicable search criteria. After you have made your sort and filter selections, click the refresh button to reload the list. Note that the list does not automatically return to the top of the new selection, rather, it will stay at whatever page you were previously viewing.

will save your input. Note that if any errors are found, you will be brought back to this page, and a message like "Errors have been found in your input, see below:" will appear, with further information below. When this message appears, the record has NOT been updated; you will need to correct the error before any update can be made.
will delete the displayed record, if applicable and allowed. Note that deletions in Tromis are a two step process - the first time you click delete, the system will ask you to click again to confirm. When you click delete again, the record will be permanently deleted - DELETED RECORDS CANNOT BE RECOVERED.
Note that not all users will see the same links on menu pages. The role into which the user's profile is placed will determine which pages the user will see. Further, not all buttons will be visible to all users, depending upon the role.
At the top of most pages is a location bar with a gray background, which shows your current location in the application's structure. You can use the underlined words in the location bar to navigate to pages previously visited.
At the bottom of most pages is a list of the links from you home menu. These are provided for you to navigate from page to page more quickly.
Please note that some field descriptions, messages, and button captions may differ from what is shown above if your system administrator has modified the system message values
Caching Caching is a feature of your browser program, be it Internet Explorer or Firefox or something similar. The rationale for it is to make your web browsing faster for content that does not change. When using a web-based software application like Tromis, caching can make some pages appear to be out of date. On the server side, there are techniques used to tell the browser not to cache a page, but different browsers and even different versions of the same browser do not look for the same caching directives. We have employed multiple techniques to ensure pages get refreshed - but we cannot guarantee that all versions of all browsers will respond correctly.
If you are using Internet Explorer, you can adjust caching by choosing tools_Internet Options, on the General tab, in the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click "Settings" and see what's under "Check for new versions of stored pages". If you don't have a very slow connection and it doesn't ruin your browsing experience in other contexts, consider setting the browser to "Every visit to the page".
